Ray Density

Set how many light shafts the GPU casts per frame. From a single dominant beam to a dense cathedral scatter — all from the clip strip. Audio-reactive and MIDI-mappable.

CONTROL 02

Ray Length

Stretch shafts from tight localized halos to scene-filling columns of light. Modulate in real time against your track without touching keyframes.

CONTROL 03

Decay

Control how fast each ray fades along its length. Sharp-cut beams or soft atmospheric gradients — the same parameter drives both extremes.

CONTROL 04

Exposure

Master brightness for the entire ray pass. Punch through a dark scene or whisper light into a bright one. Stack with other FX layers cleanly.

LB: GodRays implements the volumetric light scattering algorithm from GPU Gems 3, adapted for real-time FFGL performance. Ray-marching runs entirely on the GPU — no CPU round-trips, no frame drops.
